FyreWrap® as Bulkhead and Deck Insulation for More than 30 years
Our FyreWrap Marine blankets provide lightweight and space saving fire insulation for structures exposed to both cellulosic and hydrocarbon fires on cruise ships, yachts, high-speed ferries, military defense vessels and offshore platforms.
New thinner, lighter weight systems combined with a flexible product form result in even lower installation costs and significant weight savings. This offers builders and owners reduced structure weight, which may yield increased vessel speed, fuel savings and available payloads.
Fire Rated Divisions from A15 to H120
Systems are tested in accordance with IMO FTP Res. MSC-307(88) – (2010 FTP Code) and are in compliance with MED and U.S. Coast Guard regulations.
Choice of Coverings
When the insulation is used in areas exposed to weather or potential physical damage, protective methods should be adopted, the following are typical examples:
- Aluminium Foil
- Glass Cloth
Applications
