Excelfrax 550 Felt is manufactured from specially blended glass fibers and contains no organic binder. Excelfrax sheets are self-supporting, flexible, and lightweight. These exceptional thermal performance characteristics produce no emissions on firing. Our premium Felt exhibits thermal performance approaching that of Microporous products and can be used whenever space is limited, or premium thermal performance is required.
Excelfrax 550 sheets are available in a wide range of standard sizes. Sheets are easy to cut, convenient to handle, and can be formed into geometrically demanding shapes or wrapped around complex contours.
